Venue would depend on how many were interested/location i guess. I'm sure there will be people that have their preferences...will just have to wait and see what everyone thinks about the idea first.

It's barely Springtime. It's hardly ice-cream and shorts weather just yet. You're not going to do the pike any harm fishing for them for MONTHS. Loads of time.....loads.

I just thought that if we plan well ahead then it would be easier for people to get dates sorted etc...
Also, as noted elsewhere on the forum, people are tending to think about targetting other species etc now.
Personally i'd fish anytime, i just thought allowing plenty of time to organise something would prevent the idea from fizzling out like it did last time...
I'm open to suggestions

Tootal, as always i am up for a trip, as a starter for ten, how about Scotland 3rd weekend in April, 3 spare seats in my car travelling from Market Rasen, or the first weekend in October? as always getting every one together is very difficult name a date and lets do it.
