Forum members pike trip

Post  Mark Green.PAC on Sun Oct 12, 2008 8:58 pm

Hi all, How about us all getting together one Saturday or Sunday for a days Piking? I know of a couple of places that fish well for pike so we will all be in with a chance of a pike or two.

LOL....thanks. I'd be asking a lot to expect everyone to drive all the way up here but if anyone is planning a trip up to Scotland, by all means get in touch and I'll see if I can get along for a little get together.

Nice one Jimmy. I'm in the Southside of Glasgow so if that isn't dragging you too far out of your way, I'll take you up on that offer if something a little closer to home comes up. Nice one.

.....Regards.....Andy..... geek

Things went quiet on this...and i guess it's too late in the season now to arrange anything. scratch

How about us trying to plan ahead with some dates for this coming winter season?

This would allow plenty of time for people to get organised and put dates in their diarys etc

Anyone think this is a good idea?

If so i'd be more than happy to help organise something.

It would perhaps be good to get a whole weekend somewhere so that it's worth the travelling time etc for those that would have to make longer journeys. Just a thought.
