PAC Region 26 Nottingham meeting on Tuesday 2nd June with Graham Slater

We are having a meeting on June the 2nd to launch the reformed region & we have Graham Slater kindly giving us a short talk.
The meeting starts at 8pm at the White Post at Farnsfield Nr. Mansfield, Nottingham. All are welcome.

Brilliant, better than we thought it would 18 people came, about 15 PAC members + a few guests. Graham Slater's talk on lure fishing (& flies!) went down very well & we had a good discussion with the attendees about what they want from the region. Mick Cobb attended & he has offered two venues for fish-ins at waters not normally open to Pikers, these will prove popular.

Next meeting is on September the 1st & Neville Fickling is coming to speak for us, that could be a venue filler for sure. We have Mick Bowen coming & ex. RO Phil Kirk is going to give us a talk on Notts venues etc... We had hoped to get David Horton & Steve Ormrod over but they're booked up until the 2010 season!

Some who came have been ex Notts members who hadn't seen each others for a few years. We are looking forward to September, Alan has persuaded Anglers Mail to run a little article on us, also. Trent Piker off here got us a feature in Nottingham Evening Post also......nice one Daz
