well guys i went to Birmingham at the weekend for the xv Red Dwarf conference. don't know if ant of you like it, but if you do you may like to know that it was announced at the show that DAVE (tv station) have commissioned 6 new episodes for 2010 i love this show and have done since the day it started. it was great to meat and speak to all the stars. cant wait for the next season of shows to start, anyone else got a fave show?

Has anyone noticed the new(ish)mileage markers which seem to be along every motorway. The thing which intrigues me is that they indicate distance in KILOMETRES!! The other thing is that as they are every half kilometre apart, how much did these cost?? Also, what good are they to us?

Hi again folks, not been on for ages due to all kinds of stuff (good and bad) happening over the past few months. (Marriage, moving house, illness etc) I trust everyone on here is doing well and has been catching plenty I finally managed to get the rods out again a few weeks ago to do a bit of carping and river fishing (with some pleasing results ) and now i've got the pike rods dusted off ready for the new season. 125cc Bike Licence

I used to ride a 100cc GP100 Suzuki 20 odd years ago on a provisional licence with L plates but I suspect things have changed since then.

Today, If I wanted to ride a 125cc bike or moped would I need to take training and CBT tests even though I've had a full car licence for over 20 years

Anyone know?

Yallreet folks,

My mate gave me his RC plane the other day as he bought it on a whim and has no idea. Unfortunately neither do I and wondered if anyone is into this sport/hobby.

Its a big thing with a 6ft wingspan and a little nitro motor. I would like to give it a go but know Ill probably crash the thing into something expensive.

Any help....

Not going to the coast this year for our hols but going to Flamingo Land for a week. Usually take my spinning tackle with me and try out local ponds, rivers, lakes etc and even harbours or off rocks. Never had any luck in the salt water though Does anybody know if there's a pond/lake at Flamingo Land than can be fished? I've been told both yes and no so understandably confused. Our lass says I'm not allowed because we are going for an adrenaline fuelled roller coaster ride holiday ...

As a Liverpool fan I am not surprised that he's gone to Man Utd. He is a fantastic top quality goalscorer. I'd have been more surprised if he'd ended up at Hull or Stoke. He's way too good to be scratching around in the premiership basement. I know that's where he was at the toon but they were an established top side 4 years ago. They have been terribly mismanaged in the last couple of years and they bought bad players. Not Owen's fault. I hope Owen scores enough to get back in the England ...

CTLLS Course

I am starting a course in "Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector" at Wakefield college tomorrow. I've only been teaching for 7 years so it's about time I had a bit of paper proving I can do it. One day a week for 6 months and no doubt lots of hours reading theory and writing assignments in between. Wish me luck, I think I'm gonna need it. Andy Webster

Allright Folks, Ive just been given a canoe from a mate and was wondering if any of you use a canoe and could let me know the rules/regulations surrounding hopping in and paddling my way around the river Witham and surrounding area. Since the end of the river season i have not done much fishing, cant seem to get away with Course fishing, the line, hooks and bait all seem very small and fidgety, and when i catch something nothing seems to interest me as much as Pike, so what are you all up to? The forums seem to go very quite, i am going to Scotland next week but fear i may be a couple of weeks too early as the Pike seem to be spawning, no fishing, no crack on the forums, roll on 16th June What are you up to in this ...
