pb tench for mbw

new pb tench for MAD BADS WIFE. 5lb 4oz. my best after 30 years.....4lb 10oz . well done love dont do it again though. by the way this was a male tench which makes it even better.
also saw something i have never ever seen before while fishing yesterday. sat there fishing fishing away when all of a sudden the lake erupted. carp all over the lake suddenly bolted at the same time. it happened all over the lake at the exact same time??? never heard anything, it was mad. ive heard of animals having a 6th sense before and can only asume that they felt something through the ground like an earth tremmer, it was all very strange....

I saw that self same thing today when I went fishing, madbad.

In perfect synch, all the carp that were cruising on top (must have been about 20 of them) suddenly went skitty. It made a fair old racket that got EVERYBODY'S attention.

Happened a couple of times too.

I did notice on one occasion that they did it as a seagull swooped down. This may explain it but for all of them to do it at exactly the same time is a little spooky.

wow a 5lb male?? you do realise that normally the biggest female tench within a population is at least twice the size of the largest male right??
i'd keep going back to that place if i were you mate lol

Well can i just say im well chuffed, think everyone knew with the dancing! I would like to share my new technique with you all although you may not get away with it You wait till the angler next to you (Mad Bad ) has got a nice established swim, then sneak yr pole over quietly and bag a pb Tench

That's just excellent. I'm on a tench hunt tomorrow and if I get anything half that size, I'll be stoked.
