Anybody catching?

went to the torne for a few hours today and just one thing to say....HOW THE HELL DO YOU FISH IT..... great big balls of weed coming down, and weed on the bottom. dont get me wrong guys i have fished the torne before and have caught plenty, but really today was a total waste ot time. gave up after an hour and went to the warpping drain. didnt catch but had a jack twice dart out from the margin and grab my lure but didnt hook it???. well may go again on sat for the day. will keep you all posted. tight lines guys. THE MAD BAD ANGLER

It was the same yesterday madbadangler.

Did my head in, it did.

Every tactic I could think of bombed. Moved to the margins and got a couple of nibbles and 1 dropped very short run. Think that may be down to the new single hook rig I was trying.

In general, though the amount of rain we had on Saturday night/early hours Sunday morning didn't help.

HI GUYS. JUST GOT BACK (WELL ABOUT 5.00PM) FROM A GOOD SESSION ON THE WARPPING DRAIN. GOT THERE FOR FIRST LIGHT AND BETWEEN 7.30AM AND 9.30AM I HAD 4 RUNS AND LANDED 4. 3LB, 6LB, 13LB 10OZ, 15LB 7OZ, WAS WELL PLEASED AS ITS THE FIRST TIME IN TEN YEARS THAT I HAVE FISHED HERE. HOPE EVERYONE ELSE IS CATCHING. TIGHT LINES GUYS. THE MAD BAD ANGLER.

Nice one. Today, I had one little jack but one of my mates (Andy) had a 15lber and the other one (Chris) had a 20lber and a 24lber.

I went fishing all day on Tuesday through the night onto Wednesday afternoon. I had 8 jacks to about 9lbs to show for the effort. Ah well, obviously picked the right swim on the wrong day or is that the wrong swim on the right day? Um....It didn't work. Yes, that'll do.
