Sorry to hear the news that the great ambassador of our sport recently passed away. His books were an inspiration to me and the reason why I ever took up this wonderful past time we all all enjoy.

A true great of the angling world and a pike angling pioneer. We should be thankful that Barrie Rickards chose to contribute so much to the development of pike angling and in particular to the creation of the Pike Anglers Club.

very sad to read that,, i didnt know he had died, weve lost a true great a man who had probabaly forgot more about pike fishing than most people will ever know,,,, r.i.p. legend
