Sorry to hear the news that the great ambassador of our sport recently passed away. His books were an inspiration to me and the reason why I ever took up this wonderful past time we all all enjoy.

My sincere condolances to his family and friends

RIP Barrie a great gentlemen and a true legend.

A true great of the angling world and a pike angling pioneer. We should be thankful that Barrie Rickards chose to contribute so much to the development of pike angling and in particular to the creation of the Pike Anglers Club.

My condolences go to Barrie's family and friends.

Just reading PAC30 & Barrie Rickards gives a very good account of himself, very well thought of by all the others & a learned man.

very sad to read that,, i didnt know he had died, weve lost a true great a man who had probabaly forgot more about pike fishing than most people will ever know,,,, r.i.p. legend
