Hi everybody
Hi everybody
I'm new to the site and couldn't find a welcome thread.
I live in the wild west of Norfolk, came back to coarse fishing several years ago and really like the idea of pike fishing......so be prepared for some really stupid beginners questions

Re: Hi everybody
Hello fenman and welcome.
Great set of lads on here, always willing to offer advice.
Please make sure that you aren't too specific with names of venues and such like. When taking photographs try to have a 'neutral' background where there isn't too much detail given away or just use fotoshop (or whatever) program to blur or even erase any details in the background.
I'm sure you'll agree that pike need our help and protection and other anglers need educating.
Make sure your tackle is up to the job and always carry with you suitable unhooking tackle, a large landing net and unhooking mat. Do a search if you need to.
Hope I haven't scared you off
Don't be afraid to ask those questions. It's much preferable to go out there with some knowledge of what you're doing than to try and plod along not having a clue.
