Venue Naming Policy From 11/10/08

In light of the recent discussion regarding the naming of venues on the forum, it has been agreed by the MODs that we should introduce a No Venue Naming Policy. This is to try and reduce any undue pressure on a given water and to respect those fishing such waters who would prefer that information on such venues wasn't made "public". Some areas of the country aren't blessed with many decent pike waters and as such it could be very damaging if those venues were named on the open forum. As we can't discriminate between various areas of the country it is felt that the policy described below is the best course of action.

The policy from now on is as follows........

Waters can be mentioned if requesting information on the venue but from now on such threads will be locked so replies will be restricted to PMs only. Apart from the above type of posts where information is required on a water, the mention of a water by name will be suppressed.
