Ive got a couple of savage 4 play lures "suspending" in Koi pattern. Only had jacks for now but Im pretty confident theyll land me a decent fish. They do swim really well mate

Re: savage lures
Had a 14 pounder and 3 jacks last week on the 4play firetiger.
Ive not been doing too well on lures of late and these are the only ones which have produced. Anyone into lures without one of these should go and get one. The action is fantastic and effortless. Ive been suspending these about 1-2 feet down in front of me and letting the current do the work and had jacks taking them right under my feet.

Re: savage lures
You are spot on Chumley, at the end of the retreive try letting the lure sink to the bottom and wait for 1 minute. The number of times a pike appears is surprising. I am doing it at the moment and getting a few bonus fish.
I love the very slow sinking lures at the moment as you can make them look more natural than floating crankbaits, spinners etc.

I have a couple, a small Herring pattern one & a 6" long Firetiger. Yet to catch on one but I am confident.

Got 2 of the 10inch 4Play lures today and after a few hours of chucking them about they look like ive had them years
2nd cast produced a 14lb'er followed by 8 jacks and 1 more around 10lb and loads of knocks. Got the silver ones with the battle scars on the side. £15 each and worth every penny
