If I was you mate I seriously look into 'Trangia' storm-cookers. You can buy kits for the more the more camper types but you can also buy ex-Swedish/Norwegian army Trangias. My mate got one on Ebay for a fiver and they run on a few tablespoons of methylated spirits. They require virtually no maintenance and they work better as the wind picks up, plus meths costs practically bugger all from cheap hardware/tool stores.
If I was buying a new stove, it would be my first choice. Seriously mate, they blow Coleman's away.

This reminds me, I can't find my coleman anywhere.

Any of you guys seen it Laughing

Probably lost it in a house move. I had 2 last year and another a couple of years before.

I think I've shaken them off now Suspect

Go Trangia....I'm telling you, if they're good enough for the Arctic conditions of Sweden and Norway, they're good enough for this tropical island of ours....lol

Agreed mate - i have had one of these for 8 years - never lets me down and weighs next to nowt.
Alternatively you could go all chris yates and get a kelly kettle Laughing (don't tell anyone but i have one of these too - great if you can find enough twigs to keep her going, but not so great to carry around.)
