Tasmanian Devil Lures
Has anybody used the Tas Devils?? More to the point has anybody had any sucess with this lure??? Are they a spinner or crankbait, or do they come under the hybrid cat, these things seem to of been around for years, I'v read a number of books , Charlie Bettels, Rickards, etc,etc but never heard them mentioned,

Top dollar trout lures mate. They're a spinner, very much like Devon Minnows. They have a transparent plastic body (with painted parts) which takes a wire insert through the middle. I wouldn't use them for much other than trout though.

very good for trout bud. try the smaller sized ones to. the wife does well with them trawling the last trout she had was 2lb 8 oz brownie. you can put more of a bend on them to make them swim iratic.

Yea Devons are still very good and yes they have their uses for pike too.
Salmon wise, I would tend to go for a plain or black Flying Condom (Flying 'C') with a size 2 silver blade, before I tried the Devon Minnows (green/yellow or red/gold).
