My new favorite lure

Post  tootall on Fri May 28, 2010 7:28 am

Only had one of these about a week but i've been out and used it twice and had 4 pike off it when nothing else was even getting follows - i love its action and it would seem the pike do too - it's a decent price too. Won't ever be without one now. I love it when you find a new lure you just know you are always gonna have in the box. Very Happy

I didn't order any. I've got enough little pluggy things to keep me occupied and I don't believe in that many 'magic' lures anymore.

I did like the look of the little blue one and the roach one underneath...see now I'm trying to justify it now.

TOOOOOO-TAAAAAAAAAAALLL!!!!!

Don't like you now..... Crying or Very sad

I normally whip a mono loop onto mine. Try doing a search for them or ask on Sunday. I'm going Tench fishing in 2 hours.... Wink

One in each pattern. They arrived on Thursday, superb looking things and excellent delivery speed. Hopefully give them a go later this week.

Thanks for the info buddy

Watch how this guy ties a mono loop on a single. Ignore the fact hes using 2 loops and then incorporate the idea onto your trebles. Just one per point is plenty. For big lure trebles, you want to use 50-60lb mono. You can buy a thread bobbin (makes whipping easy) for the fly section of the tackle shop for a couple of pounds.

Also instead of making loads of weedless trebles. Just make 6 or so and if you have to change lures, change the hooks to your weedless ones.
