Hi

Do you have any experience in making traces?

Or are you buying ready made ones?

I tend to have size 4, 6 & 8 and match them up to the size of bait I am using.

Andy

I use size 4 trebles as a standard, occasionally 2s, I'm talking about live/deadbaiting here not lures.

I believe that smaller Trebles 'slip' and reset more on the fight than larger ones, causing more mouth damage.

Because the only trebles I have complete faith in are owners and they only come in fully barbed, don't you think if I could get them in 'semi-barbed' I would?

I am currently using the Pike-master treble range.
very good. strong and sharp.
i have got 4's, 6's and 8's and they come in packs of 40 for around a fiver.
and for the price of them i cannot really complain.
ticks all my boxes.
