Castle Semple Loch

Hi

Has anyone fished Castle Semple Loch recently?

If so, is it worth giving it a go or can they recommend any other good piking lochs or reservoirs close to Glasgow?

Well I gave Castle Semple a try.

Only costs a £1 for a day session but that has its downsides.

Its mostly used for boating and people walking their dogs so if you are looking for a quiet afternoons fishing probably not to be recommended.

Local reports also suggest it has been over fished in the past year or so but I can't say whether this is true or not as I would like to give it another go and try and find a more secluded part of the loch to try.
