a bit of both i use the inline fox eggsinkers so i can fish on the bottom or move the stop knot down to drift baits comes in really handy for when i blag livebaits of match lads i dont have to re rig

that my friend was my next question... using the bullet/egg sinkers and moving the knott you can make the slider drifting rig into a ledger float?

yeh you can fish over depth, bang on depth or fish your baits right under the float all by just moving the stop knot or braid stop like i use

admitedly i have being fishing 1ft depth on roaming lives and drifting deads and adjusting the depth accordingly , works find.
but do use a different ledger float setup with the fox pencil float.
but im talking lakes, suppose using the slider to ledger float method on lakes would still work the same way?
