Home or abroad?
Sweden and Norway would be right up on the top of my list if abroad. For a cheaper hol you could get a ferry over to Holland - spoilt for choice over there.
At home i would be looking at Live-aboard boats for the broads or windermere etc...

if contemplating fishing on the broads you really do need access to a boat to give you a best chance of a fish or two

I am sure one of the guys on this site or another that i go on is a giully on the broads, I will try and find his details, There is also Andoni who is a site member and he is a giully abroad, Click the following link to his Blog "Esoxfever" And have a look at what he has caught and helped other people catch,newie2010 wrote:tackle tart wrote:if contemplating fishing on the broads you really do need access to a boat to give you a best chance of a fish or two

Re: piking holidays.....
Newie, I go to Ireland every year for a week, its very good, but I also have a week on my local waters, at the end of last season, through this forum, I had a week where on most days I met someone from here, sometimes on my known waters, sometimes on theirs, might I suggest you pick a week, plan a couple of days on swims you know, publisize the dates on the forum, and hey presto you might get some interest, I would be up for a couple of days, depending on dates of course Just a thought mate, it works well for me
