Been doing this since I was a nipper.

Might need to go a few sizes too big but I like the idea...

my feet are a 10. New wellies are 12. I couldn't get my feet in the 10's with the liner in. The elevens were very tight. Been using them in garden as we are covered in snow. They are lovely and warm.

Cursed with clown feet... I think size 14 wellies use as much rubber as a truck tyre
I'll stick with my hiking boots and 2 pairs of thermal socks... The ideas of neoprene welly socks is a belter. Wish I was a size 9

Might be able to get into them... I'll keep the specialist shops in mind if I decide to invest.

I'd trip over them anyway! More surface area to get brambles wrapped round...

Re: Nice and warm wellies
Bought a pair of groundwork boots a couple of weeks ago from winfields... in the sale, cost me £19 and they are very good...thermal lined and comfy to wear, they have kept my feet warm and dry in the snow....nothing worse than cold feet.
It is a nice sunny day in my little bit of yorkshire today but the windchill has got temps down well below what is flashing up on the cars dash -4.5 ... Take care and get those layers on if you are out and about
