Only heard good reports on okuma reels but not seen these personally but they look ok

I have used a fair few of Okumas range and have settled on the powerliners for all my pike(bait) and carp fishing needs. excellent value for money. Before these i had the interceptors and they were excellent- only changed them as i wanted a more big pit style reel.

They are good reels, don't use them myself but a few of mates do,
would consider them if my shimano's die( early 4000's ) still going strong, as are my Mitchell 300A's Cool

hi

I had an okuma centurion and two powerliners and found them very robust and with excellent handles for cranking in baits or fish (more often just baits <<<<sir blanks alot) from long range as I use a baitboat regularly. All performed faultlessly.

Ive changed to shimanos recently because im a tackle tart and I miss the big handles on the okumas.
