Decent jack pike swimbait
Following on from the last thread about pike swimbaits, and as i can't afford the handmade £125 one, can anyone reccommend the next best (and more affordable) thing...?

I have some BBZ1's mate and they are awesome, but i am actually after a pike imitation swimbait if that makes more sense. About 10" ideally

i have one mate - very good. If you buy from somewhere like chapmans angling i am sure you will get it much cheaper...

Re: Decent jack pike swimbait
Hard or soft lure?
Im not the biggest fan of multi jointed hard baits I did have a few but they went recently as they didn't get used, I much prefer a single joint like the scud or murzis from ace a single joint is far more versatile in action
If you could live with soft plastic try the behr pike
Tootall how deep do want it to run if its only shallow try and find a jointed fox rooter in pike should be fairly cheap to pick up as well

Re: Decent jack pike swimbait
The big jointed rooter is spot on for that depth.
Try a raptor from mark berrisford realy good at slow shallow stuff, not the cheapest though
Id post links but can't fathom how to on this android thing

have a look here http://www.askari-fishing.co.uk/__WebShop__/product/fishing/accessories-8/artificial-lures/wobblers-plugs-crankbaits/balzer-colonel-gold-natural-power-wobbler/detail.jsf it's a German site but I have ordered from them a few times in the past and never had a problem takes about a week to arrive and about 5 quid postage so ok if you order a lot of stuff, also do pretty good discounts.
