What is the difference between a pike tube and an old keep net that has been modified? Apart from the fact that there wont be an expensive logo on the pike tube and the cost. Question

Ive seen two pike tubes both with names on and each costing about £25, any one know of any alternatives? How do you keep your pike safe for short periods while it is recovering?

Well Matt, ive always used a large carp sack. right or wrong, but it keeps them quiet till they are recovered and ready to be photographed and returned safely and they dont damage the fish. ive never used a pike tube, but a modified keepnet isnt really the way to go my ol m8 a it would probably cause damage to the pikes fins, scales, jaw, etc. unless someone could tell me otherwise ofcourse.

Very Happy
