Well done young lady its a good fish especially if you get to beat your dad lol. I used to take my daughter fishing as well but only in the warmer weather.

well done to her LD, im gagging to get out tmw the ice has nearly all gone now so im raring to go!!!!!

Great fish young lady. Nice to see the girls giving us lads a run for our money.

My daughter keeps asking about going fishing, but she's only 7 and not an ideal age !! Apart from that, she would get bored in 3 minutes as they all seem to do nowadays !

I'm taking my boy out Friday for his first pike session, I think he'd a brick if he caught a 14lb er!
This is the week where we all post a 20! hopefully..

Found some ice free water today and managed one run resulting in this

I was fishing on my own with no one to be seen until i got the run then as if by magic about 40 over 60s walkers appeared just as i banked it
They were all round me as i unhooked it a few of them were taking pics and asking allsorts of questions like are you taking it home to eat and will it be able to breath out of water lol they were a nice group but i could have done without them at that moment but at least i got one of them to take these pics so not all bad

Out again tomorrow so fingers crossed

I THINK ALL RAMBLERS SHOULD BE SHOT A BIRTH..... along with old people who drive slow, then speed up in a 30mph and do 40mph!!! Freaks of Nature !!!

This little private mooring is my destination Thrs.

Hope the results are as good as normal.

me and the missus are out rambing this weekend but we will have a slow drive up to the lakes dont like to go over 30 might take us a while to get there might speed up to 40 if the wife lets me.....

Was out on sunday, drove 20 miles to the lake find half of it covered in ice and two guys fishing the only swim available with any depth.... so therefore was left to fishan area with 3 foot of water and blanked. .... not a happy poker only bonus was i found a fox micro dolphin. .

went out yesterday good days fishing, all caught with live bait apart from perch that was couple maggots, going again saturday try for some bigger ones and try out my homemade floats

nice going tom is the water very clear where you caught the perch ?

very nicly marked perch .

ye kell its quite clear you can see most of the little roach and perch swimming by you, it has been clearer tho so much so that you dont need a float you can see the fish pick the maggot up from the bottom, ye very nice markings aswell

cheers mate, i think you should stock up on baits and supplys and go to your best venue and not leave until you bank one

good fishing Adie, and congrats to M.B.A on his new P.B. I couldnt catch cold at the minute, Sithee and I were out on Wednesday it took us some time to get to a fishable venue, Sithee was not too impressed with my choice of venues a small drain just outside of Lincoln, untill he latched onto a 14lbs 8oz Pike, and then a jack of about 6lbs came his way, me I blanked for the 4th succesive time, anyone want to buy some Pike fishing gear

Well it was a blank for me(2 in a row now) but with this bunch of loonies for company,how can you fail to enjoy the day.

At least "two catz"(79 years young) had a bit of a result.

And a cracking sunset before hometime,it don"t get A LOT better.

It doesn't matter if you don't catch its the being there that counts
I was out with 3 of my mates yesterday and we had a great time and managed to bank a few as well !!
Best part though was putting my mate onto his first double which he's been after for a good few years
