Storm Live Kickin Soft Lures
I've seen 4 of these Storm Live Kickin Soft Lures for £14.50 (1 x Shad Bleeding Roach - 15cm - 41g, 1 x Minow Black / Silver - 15cm - 29g, 1 x Perch - 10cm - 16g and 1 x Pike - 12cm - 19g) just wondering if they're any good and is it a good price?

when you say squirrel fishing do you mean sitting in the park with peanuts as bait just tied to the end of your line. You get poinbts if you can get the squirrel off the ground before it chews your bait/line through?
I do that as well its great fun isnt it.

I've used the roach, perch and the minnow, they're top lures had a good success rate on them, where is selling them that cheap? I paid 6 quid each! Haha
Drew is a great squirrel fisher, he lost both my roach and perch ones! Haha ... it was only revenge I thinly for the amount of times I've borrowed lures and they've not come back Haha

I've been told these lures are hard to work,
but am yet to have a soft storm lure in my box, (got a couple of the hard baits) i might have a look, see why i can do with em,
thanks for head up on their 'packs'

I bought one of the large ones a few eeks ago. It was hard to work and I found it was a very poor hooker. After losing three big fish on it I consigned it to the bin.

Re: Storm Live Kickin Soft Lures
just cant seem to get lures with bigger hooks to get a hook hold, that lure is about 6 inch,, I made another thread about it the other week

Bigger hooks hold better as a rule. That lure's problem is its profile, too flat I think so that when a pike takes the lure tends to fold over rather than sit straight in the pike's mouth.
The first thing to look at if you're losing fish is whether your hooks are sharp enough.
My version is 9"+
