diawa Millionaire Proteus 300
So i was a bit drunk last night and bid on this reel on Ebay and won it , Cost £48 inc p&p, Have I wasted my money
and is it suited to the fox warrior cast 8ft 20g to 100g

a much underrated reel i have mine on a sledgehammer and use it for throwing my biggest lures.
im a fan of reels with proper brakes rather than the current trend for magnetic ones so it suits me fine

No not yet m8, I got one of eBay but was to tight, so i got another but was to loose, so im gonna take it to the tackle shop and get it done properly

well the first one was 2.5mm bore this one only went on half way, so I got a 3mm bore but it seems very loose, I should have maybe go the 2.8mm bore

decent epoxy will set that, get a fast setting one or wedge it with one of the epoxy puttys you can get poundland even do them

If you put a twist of cotton around the rod tip first it will give the epoxy something to lock onto.
