Highland piking
Hello, I'm planning on doing a bit of pike fishing in the Highlands soon. Does anyone out there know what baits I should be using and are the pike likely to be in deeper water just now?

Welcome to the site mate.
At this time of year i tend to go lure fishing over deadbaiting but if thats not your cup of tea then i dont leave the house without wee broonies, blueys, lamprey and good old mackerell and i doubt theyll be in to deep of water but id probably fire my 3rd rod into the deep stuff you never know
