probably i have one and cant think ive ever needed it
i may have done but memory is failing due to man flu. for the space and weight it takes up its a thing worth having just in case

I have one too and again I rarely have a use for it. They are a handy tool if you bring in a fish that has someone else's trace in it, maybe one that's been cracked off on the cast and swallowed. They have a flaw though. Once you've slid the disgorger down the trace and freed the top hook, you have to go in with the cutters and chop that hook up. If you don't, then when you send the disgorger in for the bottom hook, the downward pressure you apply to release it will send the top hook back in again where it re-hooks.
They could do with being six inches longer too.
