I do upto 50yrds with a telescopic pea shooter no probs ? A tool for every range

And best of all I can get a bite without a single piece of bait on the hook ?

just to clarify, my point was merely about the technical capabilities of shooting an air rifle '800 yards', it was not suggesting that i do this (i dont - wouldnt dream of it) because as you point out, it would almost certainly be illegal and definitely be dangerous.

"Technical capabilities" clearly something you know very little about poor information can cause all sorts of problems for people trying something for the first time beliving what they have read to be correct it seems to me that this is a method that i would guess you have never even employed i was always told if you know nothing say nothing just some advice not having a "POP" at you pal
