Very disappointed again that so much effort has been put into arranging another fish-in by individuals only for it all to fall through again at the last hurdle. Myself having rearranged meetings this weekend in London now to find no one staying over at Cellars. Not sure how the lakes owners will also feel about this but would also be very disappointed. the dates for this one conflict with Mrs Matts birthday and also with the venue being so far away I would have to make it an overnighter. Day sessions up as far as doncaster make for a very long journey there and back in a day.

But thats just me cos I live in the midlands, im sure there are others who would have the same issues if I sorted out something in the midlands and they lived up north or that strange land south of Milton Keynes.

Pike season in the midlands is drawing to a close around about now or I would have given an overnight session at Frisby a whirl. I will certainly be taking a look at suitable overnighter venues with a view to organising some pike social for next season though.

I will be happy to pay the 15.00 mate to make up for her losses for the weekend so that we are not turned away again next time, if there will ever be a next time!! I had a sound day at cellars, thanks for sorting it Adie, frustrating to miss a few runs especially when you start thinking of the calibre of fish that are in there .
But on the plus side I had a lesson in stick float fishing, which was good and I was amazed to catch a 3 or 4 pound trout on that little stretch of stream.
Good to spend the day with otter and adie once more and I will definitely be returning to try my luck at cellars again.
Cheers lads.
