Going on the Cellars fish in overnight and need a sleeping bag, just bought a bivvie and need advise on which bag to get, any views or suggestions appreciated, possibly looking at the Tracker Big Snooze and thermal cover!

I have a jrc , cant recall which 1 . I think it may be " 5 seasons ". Its light, packs away quick and easy, and I can honestly say its one of the best pieces of kit I own, Often have to get out of it because im too hot.... Top piece of kit. It will be getting some hammer in the next month or so !!!

do you guys fish through the night or wind the rods in?
if i got in bed i would have to wind them in so i just snooze in my bivvy in my chair,, suited and booted ready for action.
never tried sleeping properly whilst fishing. quite looking forward to an overnighter now,, will be my first one for many years Cool

ive the buffalo system its pile and pertex and so good at temp control ive slept in underwear in it

and woken up warm with ice on the outside it was a shame i didnt pull the face cover together as ice in your beard in a morning isnt to pleasant
its almost as unpleasant as not being able to open an eye and finding a slug gluing it together

spent many nights under the stars with just a bag face and far too many with nothing more than grass or scree as a mattress
anyway back to the bag ive been out in it in very cold conditions (-18 but possibly colder i cant think of any at the minute but im pretty sure we once had a -30 night but i cant remember now brain freeze i guess)

Right just seen this cyprinus magmatex 3-5season bag reduced from £149.99 to £79.99 which looks decent, it may be the deal of the year so far or a complete flop! Embarassed

Thanks chaps for all of the advice I have gone for the Cyprinus magmatex 5 season, the deal seemed too good to be true, and on the review video I saw the guy chucked a bucket of water on it and it remained dry, so may be good for incontinence, and to be honest not looking forward to seeing Kell and Adies mugs at three in the morning that is enough to make any one pee the bed Very Happy

that just means it wont breathe much so you will sweat in it and get cold. with such a bag wear as little as you can inside it

i had done but a fundemental for breathable fabrics is the higher the waterproofing level the less breathable they become
