you can night fish the big 2 glacials in the lake district as long as you tell the EA/National trust wardens (if they come round) that your bivvy is a day shelter and not a tent. no fires allowed and if you are night fishing make sure you get up for your alarms going off. also use hard skinned baits overnight such as lamprey or you will be pestered by eels all night.
