Day out with Rozzo
Took Rozzo to our secret venue today lol
I had the first fish of the day at 12lb 13oz
Lost a few takes on livebait they were being very finicky today
I finished the day with a jack of about 4lb
Then withing 10 mins Rozzo was into a fish about 7 or 8lb ( we didn't weigh it )
Rozzo also lost 3 others as well
His first pike for quite a while Nice one mate thats broke the jinx

Re: Anybody Catching
well was out today on my local water which is a lake of 3.75 mile circumfrence
i got there for sun up and fished my fav swim which was very quite( not a lot of roach surfacing).
after an hour or so my mate turned up to fish for silvers that just didnt show at all not a bite
so about ten oclockish i decided to move up the lake to the opposite bank where i could clearly see
about thirty or forty cormorants diving in a pack, so both of us moved round.
on arriving to our new spot we could see the birds coming up with good sized roach in anyones book .
i put out 2 deads and stevie started for the roach and straight away he started catching fish after fish.
so i got out my shimano catana cx spinrod that i got last week as i was looking for a shorter spin rod
and threw about a few lures, so as the day went on i cast rubbers, cranks, spinners getting larger and heavier thinking this
is ok for a cheap little spinning rod untill i cast out a 30g roach rubber and yes thats right CRACK it snapped in half.
juat my luck broken rod and not a touch on the bait the rods kinda wish i had just paid the extra £20 and got alpha x spin with 50g casting weight.
