i may have stumbled onto a water that has these, they have been in as long as he can remember and the farm has been in his family for quite a few generations
negotiations to fish are underway Very Happy mainly for perch but any of you any experience of olde worlde carps i know stuff like naturals will work but im tempted to try and avoid tench by using pop up tactics if i get on there

1/2 Bread roll on the surface, size 4 hook, 6 foot floating line to controller. Catty big chubks of bread to and around your bait.

Feed off any swans earlier on with 2-3 cheap loaves till they go and sleep it off.

Dough moment (bad pun I know) when I used to carp fish floaters were my preferred method. I used many others like bait an wait but it bored me. I did enjoy throwing single baits at fish though hence the pop up thought. No swans just lots of geese
