One lure for life, what`s it gonna be?
If you HAD to choose one lure only that you were to use for the rest of your pike fishing, what would you choose?

The Abu HI-LO is a firm favourite over here too mate, as are the Tobys (I prefer the 18g silver). It's mostly Abu Multis (5601s or 6501s) we all use for lure fishing too.

hell yeah fozzy...... if i had to choose 1 spinner that would be it..... even when everything else draws no attention an ondex almost always will. i just wish they made a heavier but identical one so i could cast it further cos i've always found them a bit on the light side

Homemade for me!!
you can't bet the satisfaction of crafting something to catch a fish?
i've made them all in my time spinners, poppers, floaters, divers, jerkbaits and flies.
Sit back in an evening look at pics on wall drink in hand, and smerk! as to what I caught them on PRICELESS!!!

Try this mate: add a polly ball to your trace then add an olivette then sandwich it with another polly ball, slide these down towards the snaplink and crimp in place this will add casting weight without increasing the sink rate.
you can use bouyant beads for fine tuning

Can i have 2? lol
Summer would see me using a Rapala skitter pop and in winter i would have to choose a Big S
If i really had to choose just 1 though it would be the skitter pop for the simple reason that i tend to fish lures far more than bait in summer - you can't beat the sight of a big pike rocketing up from the deep and striking a surface lure IMO - my idea of heaven
