lures for chub?

do any of you fish for chub useing lures?if so what lures do you find best?

Rapala minnow shad does it for me - as do the fox vibrax spinners with silver blade and red trebble. Hope this helps.

No probs - i like using lures for chub but i find you have to cast way beyond where they are and reel back past them so not to spook them, which ain't always possible on some waters. Which is why i always carry a few SSG shot and a couple of strong carp hooks with me and get on my hands and knees looking for grubs/slugs/crickets etc

So not like brownies in that case then. You can flip a spinner right onto a brownie and it,ll probably have it.

chub do too the smaller things like little alphabet plugs salmo hornet springs to mind along with some i got from decathalon
with spinners ive found em to hit them on the drop as well but with nowhere near as much gusto as the little plugs
