So the end of yet another pike season draws to a close  Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
But what will you be doing to wile away the summer months until the start of next seasons pike fishing starts  Question

After Perch Barbel Carp Tench big Cats or just catching whatever's in your swim  Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I will have a pike rod in my bag on some outings depending on the temperature that is  Very Happy
Will be after a few old perch that's for sure  Wink
Might give the Barbel a go as I've not done this for a few years !
Not really into Carp but don't mind sticking a rod out for them now and then
will also be dusting off the stick floats and giving them some hammer on the rivers when they are back open
Also like a bit of silver bashing and floating caster after Roach and Rudd
Crucian carp well I know a nice place that's full of them that go up to around 3.10lb to over 4lb so I know Kell and I will be visiting this place a few times  Very Happy  Very Happy
But what ever you get up to don't forget were we are  Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy  have a great summer and I look forward to seeing you all back here it the Autumn  Cool  Cool  Cool  Cool  Cool

Pike rods away now.
next few sessions will be on local ponds for tench, when it warms up a little more.
Then when the rivers open, it will be back to the mighty Trent to target the Barbel, bream, chub, carp cats and Zander. Basically what ever picks up my baits lol Very Happy
