1 and 2 Nov 2014 Frisby fish in ?
Early days yet but im just gagging to get out after some predators. So I guess im just going to have to start planning now instead.
Anyone fancy a mini fish in at Frisby on the wreake after the Pike or the Zander?
turn up on the Saturday morning, find a spot fish until dark o clock then wind baits in and socialise around a Barbie for the evening. fish again on the sunday and leave later in the afternoon.

Anyone else?
Chris is interested so there will be two of us there. The Link to the website is underneath if anyone needs any more info. Only Issue I have with the venue is the bait from their shop only, im not saying its not good bait and I dont know who supplies it either but I have a drawer full of deadbaits at home already without having to buy more, still never mind it will all get used eventually I guess.
Im going to rove about during the day for Pike and Zander then stick a couple of boilie rigs out overnight for the Carp/Bream.
Let me know on here so I know how much bbq coal to take and if I need to squeeze my big barbie in the van, then simply turn up on the day and fish.

just back from Frisby, weather great on Saturday and awful this morning. There is a café there as well as a tackle shop, the only deadbaits they had were half macs, smelt and trout which was disappointing as the website says they are well stocked and considering you have to get your bait from the shop I would have thought there would be more of a selection. The banks are well maintained and flat, and the walk isn't too far depending on where you drive your cars lol.
I ended up with two smallish 6 - 8 lb pike but no Zander this time. I will let Chris tell you of his adventures.
If anyone is interested in going in the future I suggest you take some of your own bait to supplement a packet from the shop.
