If you have the same luck as your having with the Bream your name could easily be on one of them lol. good luck Mad Bad.
Re: Pike season.
me too, im gagging to get the deadbait rods out again. I might have to simply satisfy my urge with a spinning rod on the loal canal.

Not long now till the start of the traditional season, however im guessing with the long term weather forecasts that the first frosts will be late this year.

Its actually very cold over in Ireland. Daytime temps of 12 and night time as low as 4. Frosts just around the corner I think. Sooner the better lol.

That is very true. Going out again Tuesday to a lake I have not fished for a few years and I have booked three days fishing in Scotland for the week after.

Blanking
Hi all, I will be starting my annual blankathon, ( some people call it piking), next weekend, hopefully this year I can beat last winters total of 4 from about 20 sessions, and hoping to get a 14lber, a target that has eluded me in the last three years of concerted effort. Good luck to you all, hope you catch significantly more pike than me!!!😃

Perfect weather 6 a.m until 8 or 9 then it's like a summers day , a bit nippy at night though. Doing a 3 nighter next week hope it cools down a bit . Good luck everyone , I've a feeling someone on here is going to have a beauty in the next week or two.
