the pike had a good look on every drift .......bet if it was live bait it would have gone first drift
did you figure out what it car it was? if i was to guess i'd say cavalier.
Looks like a Mk1 Escort to me.
Great pics Stubbo.
Is the car in the same water that you and Eric were discussing the other week, the one where the pike don`t have enough to eat?

Cheers Stubbo. I didn`t fancy latching into that car on tench gear!

Re: water wolf christmas prezzy
you should be able to land it on tench gear unless it is a Carptina or a motorpike and sidecarp.

[img][/img] will put the vid on to show you the other fish that would not move away from the bait ........ it did have a nip at it but it seemed to be keeping the other fish away as there where 3 fish in the shadows

Re: water wolf christmas prezzy
there have been a few of these tasting around a deadbait clips . Perhaps the frozen deads ive had in my freezer for ages would be less appetizing than a fresh dead. Perhaps they are suspicious of a dead fish that hasn't sunk to the bottom yet like you would get with a popped up bait or a suspended bait. If the bait is moving they wont have a chance to inspect or taste the water which might suggest why we get more bites with a sink and draw or trolled bait.

Great videos Stubbo, they are real eye openers
The sunken car videos are very, very good. I bought a Waterwolf camera just after Christmas, but have only had chance to try it once. I found that the water has to be really gin clear if you cast it into any significant depth.
The (sunken car) venue and the other water you previously showed are perfect for the Waterwolf.
I will try and post something as soon as I have anything interesting.
PS: "Chewing" the water around the bait is very interesting. Are baits oil injected?

Re: water wolf christmas prezzy
yes they where injected as they were not the best in condition but have tried fresh baits with the same reaction from the pike ... could be they have just fed ...trying to load the last vid up showing a pike waiting for a bigger pike to move off... then it shoots in and snaffles it no messing aboutJonahJones wrote:Great videos Stubbo, they are real eye openers
