Its fantastic to see that pike have been inspecting baits. But I sort of wory that we will give them too much credit {brain wise} and the catch at all cost pikers will start scaling down on wire size etc. Risking lost rigs and injured fish. I hope thats not the case but it makes you think Crying or Very sad

I've only gone and ordered one. I've not been this excited since waiting for my rods to be built. I can now film blanks!!

I doubt it , unless the pike tackle manufacturers start producing lower and lower bs wire.  The lines we use are sensible the swivels and hooks we use are sensible and at the end of the day we are pike anglers, we are not designed like the carp anglers  you only have to look at the clothes we wear when fishing lol.

It would only take a few lost pike on silly wire before everyone converted back to what we use now.

If I get a job im going to splurge some wages on a camera too.

if they are inspecting that much and not taking, then make the bait more appealing??? can you hook this video up and watch it as your fishing or not?

No, it's recorded to a memory card. If you took a laptop, you could review on the bank, but not live as the cameras in the water.

Sorry stubbo forgot to reply, I had it out and had a run I struck in but lost the fish but I thought at least I got it on camera only to find that the memory card had been filled and the camera stopped recording about 15 mins (at a guess) before the pike picked the bait up Evil or Very Mad I'm out again Sunday so il try again but it's been raining a lot and the water is quite muddy so the pictures not to great at moment

just make sure you delete the card when you load it on your computer it depends what size card you have

I have an 32gig which is about 10 hours of filming I think 27 films x 20 minutes each

just delete the ones without any action on

you can get a 64 gig
good luck next time

its good viewing it back later on ....you just don't no whats been eyeing your bait up . I would rather watch a static dead bait on the bottom for 4 hours than an hour of big brother on the tele Laughing

I am surprised how many pike visit your bait in a session ....its early days on it for me but will be thinking more about presentation and the size of a bait in the future slowly but surely I should be able to see a preference to a bait or method that catches me more fish in the future
