Re: water wolf christmas prezzy
This is exactly why I got one. Being able to review what stuff works and doesn't, what attracts pike, how they react to bait and rigs is surely going to help catch rates, not only for you, but maybe the entire scene. Maybe, after watching and reviewing, trying new ideas etc some clever clogs will put 2 and 2 together, and the way we do things may get reinvented.stubbo wrote:its good viewing it back later on ....you just don't no whats been eyeing your bait up . I would rather watch a static dead bait on the bottom for 4 hours than an hour of big brother on the teleIdlepiker wrote:Looking at all these photos Stubbo, I think one of these is at the top of my birthday list.
I am surprised how many pike visit your bait in a session ....its early days on it for me but will be thinking more about presentation and the size of a bait in the future slowly but surely I should be able to see a preference to a bait or method that catches me more fish in the future
It'll also help on that water I pm'd you about stubbo, if water clarity is good enough, to see if there is any bloody pike left in there!
Re: water wolf christmas prezzy
Still no takes on that rod Stubbo??? Did you get any runs on the other. Would be good to see if you put a sleeper rod with the camera on and a bait with no hooks or wire trace just for comparison.

good idea pal.....surely there not that cleverlowdouble wrote:Still no takes on that rod Stubbo??? Did you get any runs on the other. Would be good to see if you put a sleeper rod with the camera on and a bait with no hooks or wire trace just for comparison.
I think its the fact I fish up to 4 rods ..... 4--1 chance as you can see by the pics they seem to be interested in the bait not the camera but might think about a bit of camo on it

i was going to suggest camo the camera up so its not obvious.
have you altered it in anyway so that it sits perfectly looking at your bait?

Re: water wolf christmas prezzy
yes I use the small weight supplied with it and counter balance it at the back on the main line with 4 swan shot to slightly pull it down at the rear as the camera floats without weight onDave-Newman wrote:stubbo wrote:good idea pal.....surely there not that cleverlowdouble wrote:Still no takes on that rod Stubbo??? Re: water wolf christmas prezzy
i'll be honest mate, i went to my 'banker' water where i go after a few blanks. No one fishes it, it has nother over 12lb in it, but is full of jacks and they're almost suicidal. I went there after the first water i went to was hammered, just to get some footage and get an idea. I was more worried about editing it and that side of it, so I wanted to get home and give it a go.stubbo wrote:well in pal resultpetestanley wrote:Had a morning out with the camera.
