TDAA thorne canal

hi guys. i know a few guys on here, like me fish the canal at thorne but how many have read the rules in the 2015 year book? i fishe the canal in november with 4 rods, bailiff came asked for books, told him i wanted day tickets (books run jan to dec) he said i will only charge you for 3 "nice one" payed my money off went bailiff no problem. anyway this year i decided to buy the year books as it works out cheaper and decided to read the rules page, thats when i got a shock. RULE NO 13 1 ROD ONLY ON CANAL??????? dont know yet if this is a miss print or a new rule, but i'm going to look into it, will post anything i found out.

could that be a summer rule ,, might be that you can use multiple rods in winter like on some waters

It reads here as if you can fish two rods, but only if you buy two books.

Gaz its ok mate you can use more than one rod

Just spoke to Pete Richardson from Thorne and District Angling Association.
And he told me you can use as many rods as you want £3 day ticket for 2 rods but have to pay for 2 tickets if you use 3 or more rods
Which is good because that's where me and a couple of mates will be on Wednesday

Well don't fish up by Stanilands, they have a match there every Wednesday.

thought it must be a typo, that web site is a bit out od date eric, books now £14 each and £3.50 day ticket. in all the years ive fished on canal its always been as many rods as you want (well upto 4) as long as you had a book for them, thats why i got i shock when i read the rules in the new book and saw rule 13 palin as day 1 rod only on canal.
