Hi everybody on a beautiful early autumn morning. So now I've reached 'a certain age' and it's time to get back to some serious pike fishing. It's been far too many years so I've got a lot of catching(!) up to do. It'd be really great if there are some mad, benevolent folk who wouldn't mind if I tagged along on a couple of trips to try and get rid of some of the rust. I've got a bit of gear so I shouldn't be too much of a burden! I live in Colchester and I'm happy to drive to meet up and can make weekdays and/or weekends. There look to be some enticing stretches on the River Stour and one or two on the smaller River Colne. Ardleigh Reservoir is very close but I don't know how well it fishes. And of course there's the Broads a bit further away. Anyway, it's great to have joined up and I look forward to meeting some of you in the near future. Enjoy the weekend.
