greetings from belgium
Hi I'm Dave
Pike and carp angler
I live in antwerp Belgium
We have a lot of beautiful water here with massive pike and carp
The reason I decided to join a UK based forum is first to keep my English up to par
And secondly I was fed up of people on local pike forum only befriending me to find out where I catch the biguns

Bit of extra info
We don't weigh pike around these parts we measure them
You talk about 20s our goal is a meter or plus
I have once been blessed with a 128 cm (50 inch)
And a 110 (43inch)

Re: greetings from belgium
Hi Dave, welcome to the forum. I lived for a few years in Lier which isn't far from Antwerp. I spent many happy hours in Janssens tackle shop. I still have a wooden meter long ruler in my rod bag to measure fish even now so many years later.

Jansens no longer exists I'm afraid it went belly up
They tried to cater to to many different kind of anglers resulting in not enough stock or choice in anything
