pike lure .....good start

has anybody tried these yet

had a good start with them a pike first cast ........followed it in and nail it under my feet they come in 2 sizes ....not cheap mind

had 3 pike in a short stint in the summer.... affraid

yes savage gear but you need the gear to cast the larger size unless you troll it on a boat.... hence 80lb power pro

Isnt it funny how its a love hate thing with lures. I have literally trolled one of them for miles, and cast them for hours on my Musky gear and had one follow. I even modified the tail to give it more action. The line through trout are just as unlucky for me. 30 hrs trolling (ish) for 2 low doubles and tiny 2lb jack. Love em or hate em lol

My son got me one of those realistic rubber pike jobbies a few years ago for a crimbo present, blinking massive thing it is and I dare not use it in case I smash my rod casting it or I lose it first cast lol.

I got myself 1 of these and 1st chuck had 1 of about 6lb and had another 4 smaller 1s on it through the day.

Wow, the line through trout videos with the underwater cameras are amazing, first time we can now see the takes, amazing, cant believe the speed of the takes sometimes.
