I was talking to a lure angler last week at the PAC syndicate, his biggest so far this season was a 12 and that was on a suicide duck and the following day his mate had a mid double too. He said he watched the pike shoot out of the weed bed and nail the duck. I bet that was heart in your mouth stuff!

I used mine for about 1hr lol, could be a gimmick and compulsion buy on my part but it looks great in the box lol. i will use it in the spring though for sure.

had a nice pike on a mouse/ vole type floating lure on the surface on a fly rod ...that was really heart stopping...... as it took it about 4ft in front of me in about afoot of water

Looks like the Duck is finished you now need the 3D BAT. Looks to me like the old jitterbug lure movement but more exaggerated. if you get or got one look forward to your review, Did the duck get a swim in the spring?.....

She swam, waddled and occasionally dived under the surface. NOTHING so I went and bought the yellow one as well. Lure collector

I had a go luring a couple of weeks ago twitching a red Diawa weedless frog across the surface weed on the drains. I had two heartstopping takes albeit from jacks, but missed them.
Also, I cast it as far as I could down the drain and twitched it back and a small bird, as quick as a flash , dived out of the rushes , picked the frog up , and dropped it again within a second or 2 . Frightened me to death, wondered what it was, good job I struck too slow - I saw the splash and only realised a bird had it when the frog was 2 foot in the air 😀😀😀

savage have just produced a jack Russell lure , its black and white with faux fur and huge trebles , on the back legs that actually kick out like the doggy paddle.
its a bit of a sod to cast as it weighs 8kgs  but they have developed a rod that will cast it .
savage had heard all the stories of monster pike taking jack Russells off canal banks , so they thought there would be a gap in the market
just ordered 2...a  dog and a bitch cant wait .........its also got a built in water wolf camera  in its ring piece ....  nice touch
