Hello from Wiltshire

Hi, I've just stumbled across your great site and thought I had better sign myself up. I'm based in Wiltshire and do a lot of fly fishing for trout but am a bit of an all rounder I'd guess you say. Really got into pike fishing the last few years and have been mainly fly fishing for them on the chalk streams of Hampshire and Wiltshire but have been out on the Bristol Avon dead baiting a few times too. Looking forward to exploring the forum and picking up lots of tips and advice.

welcome to the forum. hope you spend many happy hours on here.
we don't name waters Joe in order to protect the pike we catch from undesirables as it's a public forum. however it's ok i think to name a river for instance but we wouldn't divulge which stretch etc.
have fun and i hope to see some pictures as we don't see many from pike fly fishermen

Thanks Rozzo, I totally understand about not naming waters. Pike seem to be underattack in certain parts of the country with wholesale amounts being removed. This isn't good at all and agree we need to do what we can to protect them.

I'll be sure to post up some photos from my next trip on the 14th if it is successful.
