Lovely fish there. Cool

The attitude of the Irish Fisheries is so archaic. I remember reading about it a few years ago and couldn't believe it at the time. Even Scotland, with it's world renowned Salmon rivers has moved past the point of culling pike. They could make much of the top notch pike stocks that they have if they had half a brain. Perhaps someone ought to point them towards the Chew Valley Reservoir business model...

Wow 😳 incredible fishing there.. that is the kind of session dreams are made of congratulations. I had a blank a couple of weeks back on the fly but had a good fish follow and lost a smaller one so still positive. Going after Barbel on Saturday I think for a bit of a change... still a blank though I expect 😂

Well although it was a dark gloomy Thursday, the son was out, so I went and joined him for a session. Very Happy
A couple of Zander hit the net for me, there were also a couple of Zander for Lou.
I managed a pike as well, my biggest of the season at 19. Well chuffed. 👍

I remember when the 19-10 in my profile pic was a beauty, Andy it pales into insignificance at the side of the 25 of yours ........ Having said that I guess the 25 looks as big as the 27s you had, if not bigger pal.
When I netted the 19 yesterday and unhooked her, I would have said 20 myself , she was that close, but on the pics, she does look mid to upper double. I will get one posted.

So we're in a period of relatively stable, relatively cold weather. In the experience of you lot, how do you think it will fish? I ask as I'm taking three guys out on Wednesday piking and would rather we caught a fair number of fish. With 8 rods in the water, I'd hope that to be the case!
