Hi Biscuitmunche welcome to our forum mate Wink

Sorry but I've had to edit your post as we have a no-naming policy Neutral don't mind you saying lake windermere but not naming specific areas sorry about that Crying or Very sad

It maybe better to give me a ring and I can TRY and help. Windermere is a hard water I know I have fish it for

years with limited success there are better lakes to try. When are you thinking of coming. My number is 01524 62450

like a reid as in the ones the pike are in, you put it on you line as a run indicator saves all the noise of bite alarm ive had many blanks due to bite alarms hence being super sticious

Nah similar I suppose tho.. but with out the tension as theres nothing holding the line back have a look next time your out fishing usually find them on most locks /lakes the best ones are the dry.ones no the green ,any ideas on what landowners are going to be like on the bank at windermere side ?

It Gets placed through your line at your reel Arm ,indication is when it moves up through your line depending on how the pike runs ,when you see it move a little you wait because the pike has picked it up and dropped it if it flys up through your Rod Eyes then you strike hence watching it constantly thus meaning les likely to deep hook ,cant believe the interest in this reed thing lol I need advice on bank fishing on windermere which isnt looking to good from where ive been already on the lake especially with the high rainfall and every bit ive tried to acces eith seys no tresspassing or is really busy with people
