short session 5 micro pike weekend

come on andy you've had some bloody beauties pal .....wish I was a few fish behind you matey.......its been really warm here fish are very active fry and fish topping early doors and last knockings and they want the lures but all small at the moment...... but catching all the same

At least you caught! 5 fish is a result of sorts, even if they were dinky. There are a few streams I occasionally chuck a spinner into where the pike are prolific but never more than 2lb and it is a laugh on a light spinning set up.

I'm keeping everything crossed for the 2-4th of January as I've got three days I can get out onto water. All weather dependent

Am out tomorrow. Couldn't go last week so looking forward to getting out.

think the fishing will improve this week and next looking at the temps there up and down but fish are active ......

I was set up for perch on one rod , but the pike where taking the baits intended for the perch think that's why they were small , but enjoyable all the same......tried a few different methods which was a change from the norm.....
