the pike are feeding

one of my mates was match fishing a small water this week that i gave my season ticket up on 3 years ago.anyway the pike was spawning an he seen a few good fish.day after with a couple of rods an a bag of sprats he was into action.result 5 runs,2 low twentys biggest 21 an 16 lber.when i fished there they was loads of pike around 6`-7 lb.sincei fished there they stocked up on skimmers,seems the pikes had some nice dinners.

problem is i gave my ticket up,abt 5 year waiting list an then you have to wait for someone to die before a place comes up.you might only get 5 people most fihing it at one time.are well might have to guest on it!

I went out this afternoon mobile with my Lure rod. They were NOT feeding for me! I managed to spook two separate fish that were lying up right next to the bank! They shot off leaving a cloud of mud in their wake. All I caught was weed off the bottom

I was out on Sunday afternoon for a couple of hours wobbler fishing on a private lake managed 3 to 9lbs, great fun, some big girls were in the margins along with some jacks, so i guess they are still spawning.
